45 歲女性出現類似感冒症狀 (flu-like syndrome) 後，發生頸部甲狀腺部位疼痛，發燒。檢查時發現甲狀腺有輕微對稱性腫大。T3、T4 稍微昇高。病人在3 週後完全康復，如有甲狀腺病理切片，最預期的變化為：
